Daily air raids from March 25th to March 31st increasing in intensity towards the end of the month. Railways and sugar mills main objectives. Canton-Hankow railway interrupted for four days Extensive damage to Government suger mills which have been put out of action.

Repeated to Foreign Office telegram No. 28, Governor, Hong- kong, telegram No. 31, Commander-in-Chief telegram No. 31, General- Officer-Commanding telegram No. 28 and Consul-General, Hankow, telegram No. 32.
